This month, Tony Elumelu Foundation (TEF) will be hosting the second edition of the TEF Entrepreneurs Forum in Lagos, Nigeria. The Tony Elumelu Foundation Entrepreneurship Programme was launched by TEF in 2014 to select, mentor and empower 10,000 young African entrepreneurs over a period of 10 years. The aim is to create one million jobs in Africa with the long term goal of generating $10 billion revenue for the continent within this period.
TEF Entrepreneurs Forum will host 1000 beneficiaries of the foundation’s $100 million entrepreneurship scheme. It will bring together the second batch of the 1000 entrepreneurs across 54 African countries, that have benefited from the foundation’s $100 million flagship entrepreneurship program for these entrepreneurs to display their products and services. It is believed that this year’s edition will feature learning sessions on diverse topics, and will serve as a platform for businesses across Africa to also showcase their products and services.
