234Finance in Partnership With Voice of the East Empowers SMEs in South East With 4-Week Bootcamp

234Finance, a platform dedicated to promoting African entrepreneurship, has launched a 4-week bootcamp specifically designed to empower small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the South East region of Nigeria.

The intensive program aims to equip participants with the essential knowledge, tools, and capital needed to achieve rapid growth and global competitiveness. It focuses on core sectors like agribusiness, manufacturing, supply chain & logistics, fashion & textile, and retail, aiming to unlock the full potential of SMEs and drive sustainable economic development in the region.

This bootcamp is not just about acquiring new skills but about discovering new possibilities and unlocking full potential,” said Ezinne Nwazulu, Managing Partner of 234Finance. “We are particularly keen on driving growth of indigenous brands in this region.”

234Finance witnessed a successful bootcamp orientation on June 1st, 2024, where SMEs from across the Southeast showed their dedication by attending in person despite the security concerns in Aba, while others joined virtually. The entrepreneurial spirit of Aba inspired 234Finance to host the orientation event to connect with businesses in the industrial city of the South East. The participants’ commitment reflects a shared goal of progress and prosperity for the region.

The program aims to offer participants a comprehensive learning experience, including:

  • Essential Business Skills Training: Participants will gain valuable knowledge on sustainable manufacturing practices, networking with investors, product development and many others.
  • Mentorship: Experienced entrepreneurs will provide guidance and support to help participants navigate business challenges and achieve their goals.
  • Access to Potential Investors: The bootcamp will connect participants with potential investors who can provide the funding needed to scale their businesses.

Dr. Chima Anyaso, Chairman/CEO of Caades Group and a renowned philanthropist, commended 234Finance for organizing the bootcamp and urged participants to make the most of this opportunity to sharpen their skills and become self-reliant.

“It’s time to repackage and showcase the potentials of young entrepreneurs in the South East,” said Mrs. Onyekachi Atuloma Loveday, CEO of Oladayco Exquisite Concepts and Logistics Ltd.

At the end of the bootcamp, businesses will be given grants to scale up, further enhancing their capacity for growth. With its focus on practical skills development, mentorship, and access to funding, the 234Finance SME Bootcamp will impact the growth and success of SMEs in the South East.
