The Akighir & Akinbukola Writers Fund is giving an opportunity to Nigerian writers who want a little grant of £100-£150 every quarter. The writers fund foundation has recognized the tough situations and little recognition for creativity in Nigeria. The grant, if awarded, could be used for fuelling generators, fixing laptops, data plans and general health care. “It is not a fund meant to alleviate the full financial burden on a writer, just a little peace of mind.”
