Meet the Farmers Conference (MTFC) is the first of its kind in Dubai and the Middle East. It is an agro conference that aims to connect large-scale agro commodity producers to buyers. Stakeholders from Africa and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) will come together during a 2-day event to network, collaborate, and form potential business partnerships across borders. Most importantly, African farmers, participants, exhibitors, and delegates at this event will be able to leverage the business opportunities available to them in Dubai and other GCC countries. Also, participants will be able to gain insights into a wide range of topics such as agro commodity trading in Dubai and GCC, import and exports requirements, laws and policies, financing, shipping, insurance and so on.
It is anticipated that the outcome of this event will be of great value to everyone participating. Using Dubai as a hub, the GCC will be able to enjoy the rich crops from the tropics of Africa, while the African countries will also experience a boost in agro trade.
To help participants establish key partnerships, meet with potential buyers and stakeholders with interest in agro products made in Africa.
MTFC 2017 will host a number of large agro producers, distributors, buyers and investors alike during a 2-day conference. There will also be government officials and renown speakers such as Almas Jiwani, Emeritus President UN Women Canada Board of Directors; Prof. Pat Utomi, Chairman/CEO Integrated Produce City; Bing Zhao, Director at World Food Program; and others present at the event.
